Our school ethos is ‘love learning and love life.’ I am proud to lead a team of staff who are passionate about ensuring we provide an inclusive, engaging learning environment and a curriculum designed to meet the needs of the children in our community.

Carlisle is a popular and nurturing three form entry infant school federated with Hampton Hill Junior School. The two schools work closely together to ensure that there is continuity and consistency in our approach to teaching and learning and clear progression as pupils move on to the next stage in their learning.

We challenge our children to be the best they can be, in all aspects of school life and have high expectations for learning and for behaviour. We ensure that skills and knowledge are developed not just in curriculum subjects but also in our learning behaviours and in social skills. Being kind to others, having resilience and perseverance, and being able to communicate effectively are skills we hope to equip all our children with during their time at Carlisle.
